About Your Coach

My name is Molly and I am a Career and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. In 2014, a year after my college graduation, I was experiencing a difficult season in my life, trying to find direction and trying to find purpose.  My strength coach opened up my world not only to help me find what fulfilled me but showed me how I can have an impact on those closest to me and new faces I encountered.  I became so inspired by this process and what I had learned about myself that it became the one thing I thought about basically all the time.  It poured into my heart so dearly that now I am on my journey to share this process with the people around me and hopefully you.

After living in Los Angeles, CA, Austin, TX and now St. Paul, Minnesota I am a former middle school counselor and had the wonderful opportunity to implement an after-school strengths program that allows middle school students to discover themselves on a deeper level at such an early age. I am now on the path to bring the same trusted process to kids and families at home.

Degrees & Credentials: Bachelors Degree in Public Relations and Minor in Marketing; Masters Degree in Educational Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential; Gallup Certified Strengths Coach

Philosophy

After experiencing my own strength coaching journey, I was astounded by the amount of learning I gained about myself. The understanding I created about who I was on a deeper level was more helpful and guiding than I could have imagined. I felt as though I finally held the secret key. Not a key to all the answers, but a key that would guide me to those answers.

My philosophy is to help students and young adults create a strong and sturdy foundation they can rely upon over and over again as they explore different facets of their life. MollyCateCoaching is an academic, early career coaching and personal development business founded on an accumulation of experience in educational counseling, middle and high school counseling positions, as well as a college admissions role. My goal is to help middle, high school students and families bridge the gap in understanding who they are and understanding of each other to create deeper bonds that can over come obstacles and last a lifetime.

I help all clients discover who they are and build self-confidence for their budding futures, to help students discover meaning and purpose within their future career choices, and to help parents wanting to learn how to foster their child’s talents.
